　　action 强调动作的方式和历程，而且指比较复杂的动作，需要较长时间才能完成的事，如：

　　While a ship is in distress，rescuing passengers from danger is a heroic action.

　　当船遇险时，营救乘客脱离危险是一种英勇的行为。

　　还应注意在机械和物理用语中，不能用 act，要用action，如：

　　the action of heat

　　热的作用；

　　反之，在an act of kindness 一语中，若改为 an action of kindness也是错误的。

　　deed 如同 act，
